2. Platform Role and User Responsibility

PocketWell is a digital platform that enables users to create event pages and facilitate monetary gifting between individuals.

PocketWell:

• Provides the technical platform only
• Does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or legitimacy of user-submitted content
• Does not endorse or guarantee the conduct, intentions, or actions of any Host or Guest
• Does not act as a bank, escrow service, or money transmitter
• Does not hold, manage, or control user funds

All interactions between Hosts and Guests occur at their own discretion and risk.

3. Payments and Financial Contributions

Payments made through PocketWell are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment service provider. Stripe facilitates the processing of payments and payouts directly to Hosts’ nominated bank accounts in accordance with Stripe’s own terms and verification requirements.

PocketWell does not guarantee:

• The successful completion of any payment or payout
• The timing of payouts
• How Hosts use or manage monetary gifts they receive

All monetary contributions are voluntary and, except where required by law, are non-refundable.

4. No Financial or Outcome Guarantees

PocketWell makes no representations or guarantees regarding:

• The use of funds by Hosts
• The outcome of any event or gifting activity
• User satisfaction or expectations
• The success or completion of any event

Use of the platform does not guarantee any particular result.

5. Third-Party Services

PocketWell integrates and relies on third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Stripe (payment processing and payouts)
• Supabase (data storage and infrastructure)
• PostHog (analytics and performance monitoring)

PocketWell is not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or policies of third-party services. Each provider operates independently under its own terms and privacy policies.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PocketWell and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from or related to:

• Use of or inability to use the Service
• Errors or omissions in user-generated content
• Payment disputes between Hosts and Guests
• Delays, failures, or errors caused by third-party services
• Any reliance on information provided through the platform

Use of PocketWell is at your own risk.

7. Changes to This Disclaimer

PocketWell may update this Disclaimer from time to time. Any material changes will be published on the website.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Disclaimer.
