1.3 Payment and Financial Data

• Payment card details and bank account information are not stored or processed by PocketWell. All payments are handled securely via Stripe.

• To receive payouts, hosts are required to provide their bank account details within the PocketWell platform. This information is used solely for processing payouts securely through our payment provider.

1.4 Analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the US Cloud, to monitor usage patterns and improve platform performance. While usage data is de-identified wherever possible, it may include technical identifiers like IP addresses or browser fingerprints.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Enable you to host and contribute to events.
• Process payments via Stripe.
• Monitor site performance and improve features.
• Respond to user support requests.
• Enforce our Terms & Conditions and protect against misuse or fraud.

We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information only in the following cases:

• With Stripe: To process payments and verify host identities.
• With PostHog: For performance analytics.
• With service providers: Who assist us with cloud hosting (e.g., Supabase), analytics, or customer support, under strict confidentiality agreements.
• To comply with the law: We may disclose personal information if legally required (e.g., under a court order or regulatory investigation).

Some of our third-party providers (like PostHog) store data in jurisdictions outside Australia, such as the United States. When this occurs, we ensure these services apply privacy safeguards that meet or exceed Australian legal standards.
